The new Node.js v26 version is now available on our servers!
On the SSH level, you can use Node.js v26 with the following commands:
node26npx26npm26yarn26
For websites, simply select Node.js v26 from the available Node.js versions when creating a vhost through DevilWEB 2.1.
You can also configure it using the following SSH command:
devil www add DOMAIN nodejs /usr/local/bin/node26 ENVIRONMENT
Where DOMAIN is the site's address and ENVIRONMENT can be one of:
productionstagingdevelopmenttest
ATTENTION: Node.js v23 will be removed within the next three months. If you are currently using Node.js v23, we recommend testing your application with the new Node.js v26 version or switching to v24 as soon as possible.
New Devil/DevilWEB 2.1 Control Panel - Faster, Better Looking, and Fully Responsive
We’ve got great news for you: the hosting control panel has undergone a major makeover and is ready for new challenges.
Works Great on Every Screen
The new interface is fully responsive (RWD), so whether you're managing your hosting from a desktop, tablet, or smartphone, everything looks and works exactly as it should. The full functionality of the control panel is now literally in your pocket.
Light and Dark Modes
We know some people prefer working with a light theme, while others can't imagine using a control panel without a dark mode after sunset. Now you can choose what suits you best: a light theme, a dark theme, or an automatic mode that follows your system settings. We save your choice, so you only need to set it once.
This Is Just the Beginning
We're continuing to work hard on the control panel, with more improvements on the way to make your day-to-day work even easier. Have suggestions? Let us know in the comments or send us feedback directly from the control panel - we'd love to hear your thoughts!
The Old Control Panel Will Still Be Available for a While
We know that changing familiar workflows isn't always easy, so until version 2.2 is released, you'll be able to switch back to the previous version of the control panel with a single click. The option will be available directly from the user menu. Once version 2.2 launches, the old control panel will be retired, and the new one will become the only interface for managing your hosting.
We’re excited to introduce Mise, a powerful and efficient alternative to RVM for managing programming environments. Unlike RVM, which is dedicated to Ruby, Mise provides a streamlined way to install and manage Ruby, Python, Node.js, Rust and Go (Golang) from a single tool.
Why Mise?
Mise is designed with performance and simplicity in mind. The main adventages:
- ✅ Multi-language support – Easily install and manage Ruby, Python, Node.js, Rust and Go (Golang).
- ✅ Efficient and lightweight – No unnecessary overhead, keeping your system clean.
- ✅ Environment versioning – Define language versions per project or per account.
- ✅ Cross-shell compatibility – Works with Bash, Zsh, Fish, and more.
